Tony Moore

 

Tony Moore has over Thirty years of professional engineering and construction experience with high technology projects including: extensive cleanroom HVAC design class 10 and better, hazardous materials & environmental regulations, hazardous waste treatment, ultra high purity water (UHP) systems and Hot UPW systems, air abatement systems consisting of wet scrubbing, carbon adsorption & thermal oxidation, process chemical & gas systems and Industrial HVAC systems.

 

For the past 15 years he has been the Principal Engineering Consultant and Owner of Moore Engineering. He has been responsible for project & construction management and engineering on over 500 semiconductor projects at his company, the largest being $7.5 million fee. Prior to starting Moore Engineering, Tony was Lead Process Engineer at Industrial Design Corp for 3 years where he directed process engineering design on semiconductor facility projects throughout the United States. Before IDC Tony was Senior Process & Mechanical Engineer at Quasar Engineering for 3 years where he was responsible for project management and engineering on semiconductor, pharmaceutical and heavy industrial projects. Before working as a professional engineer, Tony was Director of Facilities for Semtech Corporation, a high tech semiconductor manufacturer, where he managed facilities engineering and maintenance departments, and coordinated acquisition and construction of new semiconductor and microelectronics manufacturing facilities. Prior to that, he was a Piping Design Engineer for 3 years at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant where he worked with PG&E and Bechtel Corporation and was responsible for analysis of Reactor Piping Systems at the last Nuclear Power Plant built in California.

 

Tony is a California Registered Mechanical Engineer and California Registered Civil Engineer as well as General Engineering Contractor A & Haz. His undergraduate studies were at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where he received B.S. Mechanical Engineering.
